Refrigerator not cold - Part One

"The fridge was not cold," no matter what the client has said, it is almost always in the first sentence of my client when I called about the fridge is not working properly, and I ask the client to describe what problems they have with their device. If you reached this article because you are experiencing a similar complaint, you're lucky that I'm going to take you on a journey of the most common causes of this problem.
Of the many devices that can disrupt your everyday routine, it seems that the refrigerator is not cooling, probably has the worst impact because it plays such an important role in health and nutrition. There are quite a lot of working parts in the fridge and the destruction of any of them can have a negative impact on your device.
The heart of your refrigerator compressor. This is something that pumps refrigerant through the evaporator and the condenser, the three parts do most of the basic work in the refrigeration process. They may often have a blower or two to help carry out their work, but not always. I will not go into the principles of how to interact with your freon condenser and evaporator here.
The evaporator and the condenser have no moving parts, they are not the systems of interconnected tubes, which allow refrigerant to run through them and return to the compressor. Their main job is to hold a freon, is the reason you want to be careful about trying to remove ice on these systems if you manually defrost them. Never use a knife or sharp object, I've seen a few refrigerators ruined because the owner was trying to cut ice with a sharp knife and a punctured tube, allowing refrigerant to escape. The best tool to manually defrost heat gun to be used on a low heat and gently, so as not to melt the plastic surrounding areas or hair dryer.
Refrigerators are different from air conditioners in one aspect, although they have a lot in common. When your AC low on freon, there is a charging port, where the technician can add freon in the unit, general repairs on many items. However, refrigerators charged with Freon in the factory, and then charging ports are soldered closed. In most household refrigerators techniques can not add freon in the vehicle, if they install the charging ports. The only problem is that these ports after sales typically allow a small amount of freon leak, and you are back to square one.
Typically, a simple question for the device to diagnose repairman if your compressor is working properly. There are two copper pipe coming out of it, which connect it to the evaporator and condenser. If it is operating normally line leading to the condenser will be much hotter than the one coming from the evaporator, if fact, I recommend using a set of light gloves or cloth to protect your fingers when performing this test, the tube may be hot enough to hurt.
If there is no big difference between the two tubes is a sure sign that something or punctured tubes and freon leaked, or that the compressor has internal problems. While many repair technicians will offer to replace the compressor on the refrigerator, the cost is usually very high, and I usually advise my clients that if they are going to spend so much money they are better off investing in a new fridge if it is not one of the really expensive models high-end, such as cold.
